To Begin...
           Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?

• While we love others and care about them, every other person in our world is just like us — a flawed human being who breathes the same air and walks the same ground as we do
• WE SHOULD TRUST IN GOD ONLY!!!

Romans 8:1-2

To Begin...
           Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

• Jesus saved us to take away our sins
• He did this FOR US, HE rescued us!
• HE died on the Cross For US!
• In Jesus, and by the power of his Spirit, we are set free to be God's children... for forever! <3

Romans 14:1

To Begin...
           Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters.

• So if new Christians are newborn children of God, shouldn't our patience be greater, our words more tender, our understanding more generous, and our care more attentive?
• We should show God that we want to know him
• Show him that we have that tender, loving, care for him as he has for us!

Proverbs 14:21

To Begin...
              He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is kind to the needy.

• Be kind to others
• Have respect to anyone and everyone, no matter the age
• God has been so gracious to us!
• But, one of the greatest ways we can thank God for his kindness, mercy, and goodness is by sharing these blessings with those around us, especially those in need who can never repay us for our kindness

Ephesians 4:29

To Begin...
          Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

• BE BENEFICIAL TO OTHERS, BUT ALSO FOR OTHERS
• Give good advice, help a friend, be dependent
• Helping others is the thing to do!

Proverbs 15:4

To Begin
           The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

• Worship God and many blessings will come to you
• But if you do wrong, then you crush your spirit
• The destruction of a cruel taunt or a well-told deception is crushing
• Words do have the power to give life, hope, and peace when offered in love to honor Jesus

Psalm 63:3

To Begin...
                    

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

• No matter how long or short that time has been, today is THE perfect time to let God know how precious his mercy is to you, how liberating his grace is for you, and how his love is more important to you than life itself.
• His love for Us is the Best Thing WE Have!      
• He will speak his word to us!


 

Amos 5:14

To Begin...
                   

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.

• Only do the right things
• Do not do as Satan tempts you to do
• Listen to God
• Follow his path, he will lead you

Proverbs 21:4

To Begin...
           Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin!

• God lights the way for his people with his word (Scripture) and with his Word (Jesus), the wicked light their own way with their haughty eyes and proud heart
• He will lead us where we need to go
• We can always call on Jesus

Ephesians 6:24

To Begin...
           Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

• He will fill you with blessings as long as you Love Him
• But grace comes; grace stays; and grace lives with those whose love is the Lord Jesus Christ
• Neither time nor the grave can strip away our grace in him when he is our Lord and he is our love

Psalm 53:2

To Begin...
           God looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

• God knows the ones who seek him
• God longs to walk with us
• He wants to be within us and ours hearts
• We should long to Worship Him!

James 1:17

To Begin...
            Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

• God Created Everything
• Everything DOES Come From Above
• God is consistent and in his consistency, he gives good gifts
• He created the world in all its majesty and gave it to us to use
