To Begin...
          Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
  • Keep Jesus within you throughout your life no matter what
  • He will give you everlasting life
  • There is nothing left for us to do except praise God
  •  "God is able" has to be one of the best and most accurate phrases in the Bible

  • Once you have been saved, your whole life turns around
  • Being saved redeems you of all your sins
  • Prayer changes us
  •  Prayer calls on God to change circumstances
  • Prayer transforms God's people and brings about salvation
  • It males us bold for the Lord

John 6:20-21

To Begin...
           [Jesus] said to them, "It is I; don't be afraid." Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
  • Fear nothing with God in your life.
  •  First, Jesus uses a name ("I Am") that identifies himself with God who delivered Moses and the Israelites from Egypt.
  • Second, he uses a surprisingly frequent command found throughout the Bible: "Don't be afraid."
  •  When we are willing to invite Jesus into our lives during the middle of our storms and messes, he not only says, "I Am, don't be afraid!" but he also helps us find our way to our most important destination, ultimate deliverance.

            So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
  • No matter our belief system, we ultimately have to trust what we can't see.
  • The Father is something to hang on too!
  •  This requires us to look past the seen to find my Father who is unseen.
  • He is the one who guarantees the unseen!
